Selena Gomez, an actress and singer, garnered attention when she posted a photo of supermodel Bella Hadid on Instagram with the hashtag “girlcrush.” On Tuesday, she posted a video of Bella Hadid and expressed how much she admired the model.
According to dailymail.co.uk, the 30-year-old singer shared a now-deleted TikTok video in which she can be seen lip-syncing to a popular audio clip of Bella.
Selena lip-synchronized to Bella’s voice in the video while applying a filter to her face and announcing, “So, my name, my name is Bella Hadid.” The singer of Same Old Love posted a second video in which she said, “But this is me, instead. By mistake, I overlaminated my brows.” According to a PageSix report, Selena wrote “Wish I was as pretty” at the top of the post.
For those who are unaware, Selena and Bella were previously linked to a feud in 2015 because of their relationships with singer The Weeknd, who they both had dated in the past.
The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, started dating Selena soon after splitting from Bella Hadid. Bella unfollowed Selena on Instagram, according to sources. Abel and Selena broke up after dating for several months, and soon after, the Blinding Lights singer started dating Bella again. The couple did, however, divorce in 2019.
